Over the years, you may have heard us talk about Arts Access, our one-of-a-kind program that breaks down the barriers to the arts by providing free or low cost admission to events and transportation services to qualifying individuals and families. Since 2013, we’ve worked with over 6,000 people in Western New York; all eager to attend their local museums, galleries, and concerts.

Now that live performances and events are returning, it’s our mission to ensure these experiences are accessible to everyone.

Who are Arts Access passholders?

They’re a mother taking her daughter to her first art museum and changing her daughter’s life by showing her new, creative methods of self-expression.

They’re a retired community member taking their 88 year old friend out to her very first live theater performance.

They’re a caregiver to a young man with disabilities who loves music, and with the Arts Access pass, they are both able to attend world-class musical performances together.

These are very real stories about the lives touched through the Arts Access program.

Prior to this season, it has been the generous support of our sponsors and partner organizations that has allowed ASI to continue this program year after year. But now we need your help to expand our services and reach even more deserving members of the community.

Your tax-deductible donation to the Arts Access program and ASI will be used for:
  • Translation services from the International Institute to translate Arts Access materials into additional languages
  • Increased availability of complimentary transportation to events that is reliable, accessible, and safe
  • “Arts Access Night” events at partner organizations where passholders can meet new people and socialize before enjoying an exhibit or show

Thank you in advance for your consideration of our request and don’t forget that any gift over $50 will also receive a free limited edition ASI tote bag so that you can show that you proudly support accessibility in the arts.
