Last month was Cameryn Handel‘s one year work anniversary as our Arts Access Coordinator. For passholders, Cameryn is the friendly voice on the other end of the phone when they call to ask questions or schedule transportation. She has been doing so much work behind the scenes to grow the Arts Access program in the wake of the pandemic and we wanted to celebrate her today!

During her one year here, Cameryn is grown the number of passholders from 547 in 2021 to over 900. She has also added several partner organizations to the program such as the Allegany Arts Association, Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village, Greycliff, and Bellissima Productions. Her most recent addition to the Arts Access program is “Arts Access Nights” where passholders can meet and mingle while exploring an Arts Access event together.

When she’s not at ASI, you can see her out attending events in the community and she recently volunteered at an opening for the Hunt Gallery. She’s also a fantastic visual artist and you can view her work on her Instagram (@calico_cameryn).

We are so proud to have Cameryn on Team ASI and we can’t wait to show you the things that we’ve been working on with her to make the 2022-2023 season of Arts Access the best one yet!

For a sneak peek at what’s coming up for Arts Access, visit our Give 716 page. From July 14 to July 16, we’ll be participating in Give 716 to support our brand new Arts Access Plus program. If you love the mission of Arts Access, please consider giving to our campaign which will go directly to expanding access to the arts in Western New York.
