It’s our favorite time of year — we finally get to announce the artists, organizations, and communities selected to receive funding through this year’s NYSCA Statewide Community Regrant (SCR) Program.
ASI’s Statewide Community Regrants program is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
These funds are distributed by ASI based on the recommendations of four grant review panels composed of artists, arts administrators, and community leaders representing Erie, Niagara, and Chautauqua counties. We are deeply grateful for the time, expertise, and thoughtful perspectives each panelist brought to the process.
As in years past, we continue to be inspired by the creativity, dedication, and community-centered vision reflected in every application we receive. We are grateful to every applicant who invested their time and energy into sharing their work with us. While we wish we had the resources to fund every project, we hope those who were not selected this year will consider applying again in the future!
This year, ASI awarded $XXX,XXX in SCR funding to XX artists and organizations whose projects will strengthen communities, expand access to the arts, and support creative expression throughout Western New York.
