Chill Sessions are relaxed, welcoming gatherings for artists and arts professionals to connect, reflect, and build community. Each session offers space for meaningful conversation, creative exploration, and connection in a low-pressure, supportive environment — plus a sweet social to keep things cozy.
For this session, join us for Rhythm, Ritual, and Renewal: Navigating Loss through the 13 Moons with Griffin Brady, an ethnomusicologist, touring percussionist, and founder of the Slyboots School of Music, Art & Dance.
In this intimate artist talk, Griffin shares how grief reshaped his creative life and how lunar cycles became a framework for healing, reflection, and renewal. Through storytelling, rhythm, and conversation, participants will explore how art, ritual, and community help us reconnect with our “natural rhythm” when life feels out of sync.
