Arts Services Inc. (ASI) is seeking temporary, part-time staff to actively survey audiences and event attendees for the Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 (AEP6) project. Time commitment is approximately 5-15 hours per month.
The Arts & Economic Prosperity® Report is Americans for the Arts’ national study of the economic impact of spending by nonprofit arts and cultural organizations and their audiences. ASI engages with Americans for the Arts on this project to ensure the arts and cultural industry in the Western New York (WNY) region is included in the study. As a local study partner, ASI assists Americans for the Arts by collecting data from arts and cultural nonprofit organizations in Erie, Niagara, Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua counties, as well as the individuals who attend their events. This data will enable ASI to measure and promote the economic impact of the WNY region’s nonprofit arts and cultural industry.
AEP6 Team Members will be responsible for some combination of activities including, but not limited to:
- Orientation on AEP6 project and expectations;
- Attendance at local partner arts and cultural events (weekends and evenings required);
- Assisting ASI staff in scheduling survey visits to local partner arts and cultural events; and
- Some familiarity of the arts and/or economic reports.
AEP6 Team Members report to and work closely with the Grants & Programming Director. This is a TEMPORARY part-time, hourly position through April 2023, which will include evening and weekend work. Benefits include reimbursable parking costs and mileage where applicable. Compensation rate will be $15/hour.
