Artists of all disciplines, please join us for a productive, hands-on workshop!

This workshop is perfect for you if you:
• Have trouble writing about your work or a certain project
• Don’t have the time or motivation to prepare written work to apply for opportunities
• Aren’t sure if your words are working to enlighten your audience in the right way

We will be writing during the workshop, and worksheets will be provided. Feel free to bring your current/past artist statement, but it is not necessary. You will also want to have access to images of your work (can be digital, on your website, etc.) You are welcome to bring a laptop, if you prefer to write that way. In addition to working on your personal statement, we’ll cover ways to incorporate writing into your practice and how your writing can translate into speaking about your work in a confident manner.

DELVE is excited to be hosting this workshop in collaboration with Art Services Initiative of Western New York (ASI). The workshop will be lead by Andrea Wenglowskyj, photographer and co-founder of DELVE.

ABOUT: DELVE is an educational and coaching platform that helps artists and creatives tell their unique stories and establish a clear, genuine and powerful presence in the world: online, in person and in writing. We do this through personal coaching, workshops and events.

Part of the ASI professional development series are made possible by Fund for the Arts, Erie County, and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
