Are you an arts and culture professional looking to grow as a leader? Applications are now open for ASI’s MEDAL Program (Molding Executives and Directors into Arts Leaders), the only leadership development program in Western New York specifically designed for nonprofit arts executives.

What is the MEDAL Program?

ASI’s six-month training and mentorship program provides executive-level arts professionals with essential skills, resources, and connections to strengthen their leadership. Through monthly workshops, expert-led presentations, and peer networking, participants—our MEDALists—will gain deeper insights into managing nonprofit arts organizations.

Who Can Apply?

The MEDAL Program is open to executive-level arts professionals in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara counties. Eligible applicants must hold a director-level position (such as Executive Director, Managing Director, or Operations Director) at a nonprofit arts or cultural organization and be able to commit to all in-person sessions from April–September 2025.
