ASI presents three (3) program budget workshops focused on helping creatives develop a successful program or project budget. ASI’s Grants & Programming Director will share common budget terms, best practices, and managing cash flow, and include examples of strong program budgets.

Prior to each workshop, our grant information sessions will discuss the Creative Impact Fund (CIF) covering eligibility, guidelines, and how to apply. We will then use the CIF grant’s budget form as the model for developing a program budget during the workshops that follow.

While is it not required that workshop participants attend one of the grant information sessions, is it strongly encouraged if you plan to apply for a Creative Impact Fund grant, which is due May 1. This is a new fund with a few changes from previous grants ASI has offered. However, it is possible to attend one of the budget workshops without attending a grant information session.

These free workshops will run approximately 90 minutes in person and will include both presentation and hands on work.
