Virtual presentation | Thursday, April 20, 2023 | 12PM

Welcome to HR 102 with Say Yes Buffalo’s Human Resources Director Collin Gehl.

In this virtual presentation, Collin will be going in-depth into developing and maintaining an equitable workplace culture. This hot-button topic is at the top of the minds of both employers and employees as the “Great Resignation” continues to affect the labor market at nonprofit organizations even here in WNY. Collin will discuss topics such as developing a healthy workplace culture, incorporating equity into all functions of an organization, identifying toxic personalities, and embedding self-care into an organization all of which contribute to successful employee retention.

As a part of ASI’s “From the Ground Up” series, this presentation will go more in-depth than the previous HR 101 session but is still recommended for for small to mid-sized nonprofits who do not have a designated HR representative, those looking to start a new nonprofit organization, or for any arts and cultural employee or employer.

This workshop is free to attend and is fully virtual. Participants are able to leave their cameras on or off and participate via the chat or on camera. There will be a short Q&A session after the main presentation.
