ASI is excited to host ART/NY this coming Monday, September 19 from 5-7:00 pm for an in-person info session at ASI’s office in Buffalo. Representatives from ART/NY will be here in WNY to present information about their NYSCA-ART/NY Creative Opportunity Fund theatre grant.
The Creative Opportunity Fund grant provides general operating support grants of $2,000-$5,000 to small professional theatres with budgets under $500,000 working throughout New York State. Eligible applicants must not have applied directly to NYSCA’s theatre programming for 2023 funding. If you are not eligible for this funding opportunity, please feel free to share this information with your networks.
The Creative Opportunity Fund aims to distribute flexible funding to support theatres throughout the state with capacity building and stabilization, and to increase funding opportunities for theatre who have been left out of mainstream funding opportunities because of barriers associated with racial, economic, disability, sexual identity, and/or geographic location.

PARKING & DIRECTIONS
Free parking is available at the back of the building off of Halbert Street. Visitors can park in either surface lot.
Enter the building through the main entrance on Halbert Street. You will then head up the short staircase just inside the doors and head straight back to the elevator.
Take the elevator to the 4th floor. When you get off the elevator, turn right, then right again into the main hallway. Head straight down the hall until you run into ASI’s office located in suite 422.
